Over the weekend, Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to box Conor McGregor, stopping the UFC lightweight champion in the tenth round. But there was almost another fight that happened backstage, this one also between a current UFC lightweight and a retired fighter.
Former UFC heavyweight and current analyst Brendan Schaub got into a heated altercation with Nate Diaz on fight night.
The two argued about how well McGregor did with Diaz saying that McGregor only won the rounds that Mayweather wasn’t trying in. Schaub, who was a big supporter of McGregor’s chances going into the fight,argues back, but when Diaz says “It’s all good though, it’s just your lack of knowledge” to Schaub, the former heavyweight contender seems to continue disagree with Diaz who eventually fires off a “f*** you” to Schaub while shooting him the bird as Schaub walks away.
