A flyweight fight between Montana De La Rosa and Taila Santos has been pulled from Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 16 card due to a positive COVID-19 test in De La Rosa’s camp.
One of De La Rosa’s cornermen tested positive for the virus, multiple people with knowledge of the news told MMA Fighting, and out of an abundance of caution the UFC is pulling her from the card. UFC officials have not made any announcement regarding the fight or the updated card yet.
After bouncing back and forth between wins and losses in her past four fights, De La Rosa was looking to get back on track with her fight on Saturday.
