A light heavyweight showdown is heading to the octagon in March.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a matchup between Modestas Bukauskas and Michal Oleksiejczuk is in the works for the UFC’s event on March 27. As of now, a location has yet to be revealed for the fight card,
Bukauskas will look to get back on track after having his seven-fight winning streak snapped in his most recent appearance by Jimmy Crute in October. The former Cage Warriors champion signed to the UFC in the first quarter of 2020 after a successful title defense against Riccardo Nosiglia, finishing him in the first round at Cage Warriors 111 in November 2019.
