MMA pioneer Pat Miletich charged with DWI

According to the Quad Cities Times UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich was arrested by police in Moline, Illinois under suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was then booked into the Rock Island County Jail and charged with one count of DWI.

Miletich, 54, was pulled over around 12:30 a.m. on Monday on the 4300 block of River Drive. It is not known if Miletich failed a breathalyzer test.

In Illinois a person can be charged with DWI regardless of their blood alcohol content. Any amount of alcohol judged to impair a person’s ability to drive can lead to a charge of DWI.
