Mizuki Inoue, Janaisa Morandin out of Invicta FC’s ‘Phoenix Rising’ one-night tournament

Friday night’s “Phoenix Rising” series premiere for Invicta FC has been reshuffled.

The one-night, eight-woman strawweight tournament will now no longer include former title challenger Mizuki Inoue, often stylized as MIZUKI. She was scheduled to face Sharon Jacobson in the quarterfinals, but never even made it to the scale “due to complications with her weight cut.” So she’s been replaced by Amber Brown, who was originally a reserve but will now take on Jacobson and did make weight.

As for the other withdrawal, Janaisa Morandin missed weight outright for her matchup against Brianna Van Buren.
