Mikey Garcia returns from a year off this weekend against Jessie Vargas but before that, the undercard features a couple of very interesting title fights at flyweight and super-flyweight. At super-flyweight Khalid Yafai (26-0, 15 KOs) defends his WBA belt against former four-weight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (48-2, 40 KOs)
Yafai took the vacant WBA belt against veteran Luis Concepcion in 2016 and defended it four times since, though none of these defences took place against top super-flyweights. Chocolatito was a champion from minimumweight to super-flyweight between 2008 and 2017 and was considered the top pound for pound fighter in the world towards the end of his reign.
