If you thought Mike Tyson’s ring return last November against Roy Jones Jr. was a one-off, this piece of news may baffle you in all sorts of ways. During a recent episode of his podcast, the 54-year-old legend announced his comeback at the “end of May” at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
USA Today’s Boxing Junkie also confirmed the news.
“End of May. Where you fought,” Tyson told guest Canelo Alvarez. “May 29, something like that. May 31.”
Tyson made his comeback against Jones after a 15-year absence. He says he felt “better” than anticipated but admitted he held back a little bit.
