Miguel Cotto’s return to the ring was supposed to go down later this month. That will not be happening now. Cotto was scheduled to meet James Kirkland in an HBO pay-per-view event, but an injury to Kirkland has led to the cancellation of the entire event. Dan Rafael of ESPN confirmed the news on Twitter:

The injury that Kirkland suffered was a fractured nose, according to Roc Nation and other sources.
