Mayweather to McGregor: ‘If you decide to come back, I will be waiting to punish you again’

It didn’t take long for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to try and bait Conor McGregor back into the boxing ring following ‘The Notorious’s’ shock retirement from MMA on Sunday.

McGregor, 31, accused the UFC of trying to ‘stomp all over him’ and said he was involved in a power struggle with the premiere fight promotion.

Mayweather, however, believes the Irishman has buckled under the pressure and berated his one-time opponent for ‘quitting’.

‘The Best Ever’ said he will be waiting to ‘punish you again’ should McGregor come out of retirement.

“If I’m not mistaken, didn’t you tell Mike Tyson you could beat me if we fought a second time?
