A women’s flyweight matchup is on deck for what figures to be the UFC’s final pay-per-view of 2021.
Montana De La Rosa told MMA Junkie that she will take on Maycee Barber at UFC 269 on December 11th. No location has been announced but it’s believed that the event will be in Las Vegas.
Barber (9-2) was touted as a major prospect and she had visions of becoming the youngest champion in UFC history. Obviously it didn’t work out that way for the 23-year-old, as her bright 3-0 start in the UFC gave way to consecutive losses to Roxanne Modafferi and Alexa Grasso.
