Maycee Barber still vows to become ‘youngest champion’ after UFC 246 loss

Despite losing her undefeated record, Maycee Barber’s goal remains the same.

The 21-year-old lost a lopsided decision to Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 246 on Saturday, dropping her pro record to 9-1 and putting a pause on her rapid climb to the top of the flyweight division.

Following the event, Barber took to Instagram to comment on the loss and reiterate her oft-mentioned plan to become the youngest champion in UFC history, a record currently held by Jon Jones (Jones won his title at 23 years and 242 days of age).
