KSW 40 will be headlined by a 155-pound rematch between undefeated champion Mateusz Gamrot and Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Norman Parke. Gamrot and Parke first met this past May at KSW “Colosseum” with Gamrot winning a contentious unanimous decision.

The 30-year-old Gamrot boasts a 13-0 record. The Poznan, Poland native won the KSW lightweight crown in May 2016, defeating Mansour Barnaoui to take the vacant crown. The May win over Parke was “Gamer's” second successful title defense, following Gamrot's second-round heel hook of Renato Gomes Gabriel last October.
