Yesterday, UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman and self-certified ‘bad motherf-cker’ Jorge Masvidal got into a heated altercation at Super Bowl media day in Miami, Florida.
It didn’t come to blows, but plenty of words were exchanged before both men were separated by security and went their separate ways.
Masvidal even predicted the encounter, as the UFC BMF champ sent a warning to Usman just moments before they crossed paths at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on Wednesday.
“He said it in an interview, he gets amped up, (and) he gets very excited when guys talk trash,” Masvidal said during a recent appearance on the Jim Rome show (h/t MMA Fighting).
