Martin Bakole narrowly escaped dropping his second straight loss inside the square circle, going to a majority draw against Efe Ajagba during the Canelo vs. Scull undercard in Riyadh.
Ajagba largely dominated the first three rounds, but Bakole finally started to turn it up with 30 seconds left in the third, lighting up Ajagba with a flurry of strikes against the ropes. That continued into the fourth with Bakole going on the attack and landing an especially nasty left hook.
The footwork Ajagba displayed in the first couple stanzas has seemingly disappeared. Instead, he’s opting to lie on the ropes and cover up while Bakole tees off.
