Marlon Sandro Releases Statement Two Months After Allegedly Assaulting Fiancee

Marlon Sandro has broken his silence some two months after allegedly assaulting his fiancée in Brazil.

The Bellator MMA and Sengoku veteran admitted to making a mistake in a post on his Instagram account Tuesday, but does not mention fiancée Tayssa Wuenchse directly. According to multiple reports, Sandro allegedly choked Wuensche unconscious in the middle of the street at the San Salvador Square in Rio de Janeiro in December and hit her multiple times after she regained consciousness.

“I know I had my moment of mistake, I’m working on getting better and being a new man,” Sando wrote [translation via MMAFighting.
