Mark Striegl was all set to face Jordan Lucas in Manila tonight but disaster struck when the undefeated Australian suffered a nasty looking cut in training. It left the Filipino star with an anxious wait as he wondered whether his entire training camp would be in vain.
"I learned from ONE management that he got stitches on his eye while training and would have to pull out of our fight. Of course, my immediate reaction was frustration and fear that I wouldn't have a fight. I've trained really hard and wanted to finish the year strong in Manila.
