A matchup of strawweight contenders is slated for UFC 272, as Marina Rodriguez will square off against Xiaonan Yan on March 5.
Yan’s management, Paradigm Sports, initially announced the booking. UFC 272 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is also expected to include a featherweight tilt pitting Edson Barboza against Bryce Mitchell. The event does not yet have a headliner.
Rodriguez is currently on a three-fight winning streak in the Octagon, with victories over Amanda Ribas, Michelle Waterson and Mackenzie Dern to her credit.
