Manny Pacquiao And Mario Barrios Fight To A Draw

Related Topics: Manny Pacquiao, Mario Barrios

More than 24 years after bursting onto the U.S. boxing scene at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Manny Pacquiao returned to the very venue where his legend began hoping to make history as the oldest fighter to win a welterweight world title.

In a closely contested battle with WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, the 46 year old Pacquiao fought with heart, flashes of vintage speed, and relentless pressure. But after 12 hard rounds, the fight was ruled a majority draw. With that, Barrios retained his title, and Pacquiao left Las Vegas empty handed to the disappointment of the pro Pacquiao crowd.
