Manager claims McGregor never asked for Khabib rematch: ‘It’s fear going around Ireland’

Weeks after losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, Conor McGregor was already speaking about a possible rematch, at least via Instagram. “The Notorious” did also say he was willing to face the next in line first, before having doing the part two.

Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz, however, claims McGregor is not willing to take a second fight, mainly out of fear.

“Conor McGregor did not ask for the rematch. He don’t want to have nothing to do with the rematch,” Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports (transcript by MMA Mania). “His father don’t want nothing to do with rematch.
