Manager Ali Abdelaziz has misdemeanor battery charge involving Colby Covington dismissed, ordered to pay cash bond

Manager Ali Abdelaziz has settled one of his outstanding battery charges.

According to Las Vegas Township Justice Court records, Abdelaziz has been ordered to pay a cash bond of $1,000 for an incident in March involving himself and UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman getting into a physical altercation with Colby Covington at a Las Vegas casino. A battery charge was initially filed against Abdelaziz on June 21.

The cash bond was requested to be transferred, so the payment will have already been resolved. Abdelaziz’s battery charge will go down as a misdemeanor dismissed on his record, MMA Fighting confirmed with a court administrator.
