Dennis Wright (mugshot above), whose license has been suspended six times, is facing multiple charges, including driving with a license suspended as a habitual offender, leaving the scene of a crash causing death and tampering with evidence.
Wright has been previously arrested for DUI, disorderly intoxication, marijuana possession and assault on an officer or firefighter.
Parsons was walking in a crosswalk when a silver Range Rover Sport struck him at 12:35 a.m. last Sunday morning. The car fled the scene and left the severely injured Parsons laying in the road.
Parsons, who trains with the Blackzilians out of Boca Raton, had his entire right leg amputated in an attempt to save his life, but his organs were still failing him.
