The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added two exciting lightweight matchups to the upcoming UFC 242 card, both between fighters on impressive win streaks.
The UFC announced Friday the two bouts they are adding to the card. Islam Makhachev (17-1) will face Davi Ramos (10-2), while Mairbek Taisumov (27-5) meets Carlos Diego Ferreira (15-2), both at lightweight at UFC 242.
Makhachev last competed at UFC Fight Night 149 against the debuting Arman Tsarukyan, where the two engaged in a "Fight of the Night" battle to give Makhachev the win as well as his first post-fight bonus in seven UFC appearances.
