Mairbek Taisumov and former title contender Tonya Evinger are among 13 fighters recently purged from the UFC roster.
Here is the full list of fighters no longer part of the UFC roster: Mairbek Taisumov, Tonya Evinger, Dong Hyun Ma, Chance Recountre, Matthew Lopez, Cyril Asker, Khalid Murtazaliev, Talita Bernardo, Jodie Esquibel, Kyle Prepolac, Marcos Mariano, Isabela de Padua and Zhenhong Lu.
Taisumov is probably the most surprising name on the list after the Russian lightweight put together an impressive 6-1 record over his past seven fights with his only loss coming to Diego Ferreira last September.
