A light heavyweight clash between Luis Henrique da Silva and Jordan Johnson was added to UFC on FOX 23, sources told MMA Fighting. The event takes place at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo., on Jan. 28.
da Silva (12-1) returns to action six weeks after suffering his first professional MMA loss inside the Octagon, a submission defeat to Paul Craig at UFC on FOX 22. Prior to the loss, “Frankenstein" was 2-0 in the UFC with a pair of stoppage victories.
Johnson (6-0) makes his Octagon debut after racking up a perfect record in less than three years as a professional.
