Travis Fulton, who amassed more than 300 fights during his mixed martial arts career, was found dead on Saturday morning at Linn County Jail in Iowa.
According to a release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton is believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself. Fulton, 44, was discovered by staff members in his cell block around 4 a.m. local time and was transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5 a.m.
Fulton was indicted in February by a federal grand jury on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child porn and receipt of child porn.
