Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz will both cash six-figure paydays for their trilogy fight.
The two UFC Hall of Famers are set to meet this Saturday, Nov. 24 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., in a contest promoted by Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions. According to information released to MMA Fighting by the California State Athletic Commission, Liddell will earn a flat $250,000 purse with no win bonus for the contest, while Ortiz will earn a flat $200,000 with no win bonus.
Liddell and Ortiz are also expected to earn additional income on pay-per-view sales, as well as through other various means for the event, which is Golden Boy’s first foray into MMA.
