Jon Jones’ lawyer says the recently retired fighter had no involvement in an accident that occurred in Albuquerque, New Mexico, earlier this year.
According to a criminal complaint filed on June 17, Jones is facing a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this past February. When Albuquerque police arrived at the scene of two-car collision, they found a woman “exhibiting significant signs of intoxication and lacking clothing from the waist down” sitting in the passenger seat of one of the vehicles. She told officers that Jones was tge driver and had fled the scene on foot after both of them had consumed alcohol and mushrooms at Jones’ residence earlier that evening.
