Polish promotion Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) released huge news in the world of MMA on Tuesday.
They took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce a new rule with regard to weight misses. The statement can be found here:
“KSW would like to announce that starting from XTB KSW 113 apart from losing a part of his or her salary, each fighter who fails to make the weight limit at the morning weigh-ins on the day before the event shall also lose a point in the first round of the actual fight. This penalty will apply to everyone who will not make the required weight limit in their given time, meaning during the morning weigh-ins on Friday and in the additional hour.
