MMAFighting.com first reported their failed drug screenings Friday.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, who sanctioned the February 19 event inside Toyota Center in Houston, is currently withholding the exact substances each fighter tested positive for.
Ferguson and Shamrock have been administratively suspended. Both fighters are facing at least 90-day bans and $5,000 fines.
Bellator has yet to address the report.
Ferguson posted an unforgettable TKO victory over Dhafir “Dada 5000” Harris in the show’s co-main event. Both heavyweights were completely gassed before the first round even ended. They were moving in slow motion in the second stanza before Harris fell to the ground on his own accord.
