Khamzat Chimaev received a hero’s welcome upon his return to the United Arab Emirates.
After claiming middleweight gold in the UFC 319 headliner, the Chechen-born fighter was greeted by a swarm of fans upon arriving in Dubai. Chimaev received UAE citizenship earlier this year. The video was shared by Ushatayka on Instagram.

“Borz” improved to 15-0 with a lopsided unanimous decision triumph over Dricus Du Plessis on Saturday at the United Center in Chicago. The 31-year-old’s UFC record includes triumphs over the likes of Du Plessis, Robert Whittaker, Kamaru Usman, Kevin Holland and Gilbert Burns.
