Khamzat Chimaev is accusing Alex Pereira of ducking him.
Chimaev won the middleweight title with a dominant performance against Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 319 this past August. Meanwhile, Pereira reclaimed the light heavyweight title by stopping Magomed Ankalaev in 80 seconds at UFC 320 in October. Chimaev has since been calling for a light heavyweight title shot against Pereira. However, Pereira said that Chimaev has yet to earn a fight against him. “Poatan” instead offered to compete in a charity jiu-jitsu match against Chimaev.
Chimaev (15-0) believes the UFC wants to save Pereira from him.
