Khabib’s father denied visa into the United States for UFC 209

It appears as though Khabib Nurmagomedov’s own family will not be in attendance to watch the fighter potentially become the first Russian UFC champion.

According to Russian tabloid Life.ru, Khabib’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, was denied a visa into the United States, despite making several trips across the pond in the past. Former Bellator featherweight Magomedrasul ‘Frodo’ Khasbulaev, who happens to be Khabib’s second cousin, was also denied a visa into the U.S.

“The Embassy of course knows everything but they have no right to tell us about the real reasons for the denial,” Abdulmanap explained.
