Sijara Eubanks has a new opponent and a new fight date.
Eubanks was supposed to fight Karol Rosa at UFC Vegas 9 on Saturday, but sources have told MMA Fighting that Rosa withdrew after she was hospitalized with weight cutting issues. While Eubanks will not remain on this weekend’s card, she’ll instead face Julia Avila on September 12th at UFC Vegas 10.
News of Rosa’s removal from the event was first reported by Combate.
Eubanks (5-4) ended her two-fight losing streak with a dominant decision over Sarah Moras at UFC Jacksonville in May.
