Recently formed full-contact karate league known as Karate Combat, has just announced that their sophomore event entitled ‘Olympus’ will live stream from Athens, Greece on July 28. The upcoming venue will be the storied Zappeion Courtyard, which was the chosen site for the 1896 Olympics and also about a stones throw from the historic Parthenon. In a press release, the league’s CEO Michael DePietro had this to say about his upcoming event:
“This location for our League’s second event of the season has me awestruck.” DePietro continued, “I am proud to launch the live European Karate Combat debut from this hallowed ground.
