Earlier this month, Dana White revealed that the promotion was working on a heavyweight matchup between Junior dos Santos and Ciryl Gane. That matchup is officially set to go down in the UFC’s final PPV event of 2020.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that dos Santos and Gane will square off at UFC 256. The event takes place Dec. 12 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Dos Santos, 36, will look to snap the longest losing streak of his career as he’s been finished in his last three appearances.
