Josh Koscheck injured, bounced from Bellator 148 headliner on Jan. 29

This probably isn't the way Josh Koscheck wanted to kick off the new year.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) No. 1 contender signed with Bellator MMA last June (details), and was expected to make his Spike TV debut against Matt Secor in the Bellator 148 main event, booked for Jan. 29, 2016 inside SaveMart Center in Fresno, Calif., on Spike TV.

Not happening.

"Kos" was felled by an undisclosed injury, according to Sherdog.com, and will not longer be a part of the promotion's mixed martial arts (MMA) return in "The Golden State.
