Legendary former UFC and WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo is in line for a main event spot towards the end of the year.
Ariel Helwani reported on The MMA Hour that verbal agreements are in place for #5 ranked Aldo to take on #4 contender Rob Font in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on December 4th. It would be Font’s second straight headlining spot and Aldo’s second at 135 lbs.
Aldo (30-7) is one of MMA’s all-time greats and he has found himself to be quite comfortable dropping from featherweight to bantamweight.
