Former pound-for-pound No. 1 Jon Jones will make his return to the Octagon in a highly anticipated rematch against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232, and the 31-year-old is ready to reclaim his light throne.
Jones has been out of action for the past year due to a failed drug test in 2017, when the former light heavyweight champion tested positive for trace amounts of steroids. Jones’ positive drug test resulted in his knockout win over Daniel Cormier being overturned to a No Contest, and ‘Bones’ feels ‘DC’ has used that test to discredit his career.
Jones is no longer willing to stay silent while his long-running rival, Cormier, continues to discredit him in the media.
