Welsh middleweight John Phillips will look to end a run of three consecutive losses in the Octagon when he faces Macedonia’s Alen Amedovski at UFC Copenhagen on Sept. 28.
UFC announced the fight via social media on Tuesday.
Phillips (21-9-0) is still searching for his first UFC win since signing for the promotion. Hugely popular among U.K. and Irish fans, the former BAMMA champion has yet to showcase the knockout power that has becoming his calling card in Europe after suffering defeats to Charles Byrd, Kevin Holland and most recently, countryman Jack Marshman.
