John Allan will fight Roman Dolidze at UFC 255, a pay-per-view card scheduled for Nov. 21, but that won’t be his first fight back from suspension after all.
Multiple sources told MMA Fighting that the Brazilian has agreed to replace Gerald Meerschaert against Ed Herman at a UFC Fight Night on Sept. 12. He will remain booked for the November show depending on the result of his next fight and his condition afterwards, sources said.
The reason for Meerschaert’s withdrawal was not disclosed.
