Joe Rogan made a point to explain to fans why he interviewed Daniel Cormier after his knockout loss at UFC 241.
The longtime UFC color commentator said in a Facebook post that after the UFC requested Rogan speak to Cormier on the broadcast, he asked Cormier if it was alright that he interviewed him and that Cormier said yes. Cormier dropped the heavyweight title to Stipe Miocic by fourth-round TKO on Saturday in Anaheim.
“Some people were confused as to why I interviewed DC after the fight because I’ve publicly stated that I don’t think it’s a good idea to interview fighters after they’ve been KO’ed,” Rogan wrote.
