Colby Covington’s persona has ruffled some feathers, to say the least. A few of those he stepped on are his own training partners at the famed American Top Team.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk, for one, has taken things personally. Prior to UFC 245, the former strawweight champion called on Kamaru Usman to lay a beating on “Chaos.”
“I shouldn’t say this because you always should support your people, but Colby is not a friend, he’s just acting weird,” she said in an October 2019 interview. “He’s an ugly guy. You never talk bad about your teammates, doesn’t matter if you like them or not.
