Jimmie Rivera and John Dodson will meet at UFC 228, at a venue to be determined, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani has learned.
Rivera (21-2) is coming off a knockout loss to Marlon Moraes in the main event of UFC Utica. Prior to the loss, the New Yorker had won 20 consecutive fights, including his first five UFC bouts.
Dodson (20-9), meanwhile, has been a factor in both the bantamweight and flyweight divisions during his UFC tenure.
