If Jessica Eye, wants to end up on the path to another UFC title shot, she’ll have to start by defeating Viviane Araujo.
Officials announced Monday that Eye (14-7, 1 NC) will fight Araujo (8-1) in a 125-pound bout at UFC 245, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 14.
This will be Eye’s first fight since challenging Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC flyweight championship at UFC 238 in June. That bout ended early in the second round with Shevchnko putting the challenger away with a head-kick knockout.
