A rematch between former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas is currently in the works for the upcoming UFC event on July 11.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that verbal agreements are in place for the matchup, though no contracts have been issued or signed at this time. Combate initially reported the fight.
The fight was originally expected to take place at UFC 249 in April, but Namajunas dropped off the card after two of her family members died after contracting COVID-19 .
