Shortly after Carla Esparza edged Rose Namajunas via split decision to claim the strawweight belt in a lackluster affair, ex-champ Jessica Andrade took to Twitter to criticize the fight.
“Any of the Top 5 would have fought better than the boredom champion did yesterday,” Andrade wrote. “Shame on the division. Worst fight in the division’s history. It was a disgrace to women’s MMA, arena booing the fight. Fans did not expect this … I can’t wait to rip your head off.
