According to KSAT undefeated WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo, 31, turned himself into authorities in San Antonio, TX after a warrant was issued for his arrest. After turning himself in he was booked with three felony robbery charges in connection to an incident that reportedly took place on July 16.
On that date San Antonio police responded to a call at the Privat Martini Bar & Social Club at around 2 a.m. An incident report states that the cops were called after Charlo allegedly assaulted a waiter and stole her tips.
The report further states that the suspected incident began when a credit card belonging to Charlo was declined.
