Jean Silva admits that his dark past has always haunted him.
Perhaps the wildest of The Fighting Nerds members, Silva is known for unabashedly expressing his emotions. Silva recently laid bare disturbing details from his past. The Brazilian featherweight saw his mother get sexually assaulted by three men, whom she then killed.
“The dark side of my life always haunted me,” Silva told ESPN. “I suffer with the things my mom’s been through. It hurts, it hurts a lot, everything that’s happened to her… from being raped… being imprisoned… losing a child.
