Jamie Bates Dominates Richard Abraham in Glory SuperFight Series Main Event

Glory newcomer Jamie Bates made good on his promise to win in his promotional debut as he dominated American brawler Richard Abraham for three rounds. Their encounter was the featured fight of the Glory 40 SuperFight Series undercard in Copenhagen, Denamrk, which was loaded with terrific action.

Bates (24-6, 3 KOs) never hurt Abraham in the contest, but his elusiveness and accurate counter striking kept the Chicago-area fighter at bay. Bates’s movement prevented Abraham from getting into a rhythm and reduced him to throwing almost single punches exclusively. Abraham (11-5, 4 KOs) came alive late in the third as he pressed the British contender into the ropes, but his effort to swarm him wasn’t enough as all five ringside judges favored Bates.
