A previously rumored fight between YouTube personality turned boxer Jake Paul and former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was officially confirmed on Monday.
Most Valuable Promotions announced the heavyweight bout, which will take place on Dec. 19 at the Kasey Center in Miami and will air on Netflix. The bout will be contested over eight three-minute rounds using 10-ounce gloves. Paul was originally scheduled to face Gervonta Davis before the fight was canceled due to Davis facing serious domestic violence allegations.
Paul owns a 12-1 professional boxing record. “The Problem Child” made his name beating former MMA stars such as Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Mike Perry and Anderson Silva.
